The Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB) is the
leading charity dedicated to promoting the
health and wellbeing of cats. You can be
confident that a FAB Listed Cattery has been
inspected by us and is of the highest quality.

FAB inspectors check for a combination of construction
standards and proprietor management skills to ensure:

• No escape or injury
• Prevention of spread of disease or parasites
• Clean, comfortable accommodation
• Individual exercise space
• Individual medical, dietary or grooming care
• Prompt veterinary care, if needed
• Personal care for every cat

FAB Listing cannot be bought, and has to be renewed annually.
It does not automatically pass from one proprietor to another.

Fewer than 200 catteries meet FAB standards, so you can be sure that at FAB Listed catteries cats are cared for to the highest standards.
